Hal Bienstock
After beginning his career as a TV news producer covering everything from Bill Clinton's impeachment to the launch of Jennifer Lopez's "singing" career, Hal Bienstock decided tis better to answer questions than to ask them. At Maloney & Fox, Hal has helped clients in industries including consumer technology, entertainment, automotive, retail and real estate, crystallize and tell their stories in a way that builds brands and drives consumer action. In addition to managing accounts for global giants like Microsoft, Tupperware and Mercedes-Benz, as well as start-ups like eMusic and PureDepth, Hal provides strategic counsel, message and brand development, crisis communications advice, writing services and guidance in media and editorial strategies, across the agency. He also leads many of the agency's new business efforts. Previously, Hal worked at Robinson Lerer & Montgomery (RLM) and New York's Fordham Law School. As a senior associate, director, and vice president at RLM, he worked with clients including Cablevision, Oxygen Media, Credit Suisse First Boston, the Markle Foundation and ScreamingMedia. Despite being forced to listen to several J-Lo albums, Hal has managed to maintain a love of music and pop culture. He currently works as a freelance music critic and tries to hear live music whenever possible. Hal lives in Brooklyn with his wife and his Cinderella-obsessed daughter. He graduated from Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism. He still can't figure out why the school can't field a decent basketball team. |
