Giles Hanson

Although he thinks of himself as a Londoner, Giles has spent his life moving from place to place around the world. From Hong Kong to Paris to London, then on to Cyprus, then back to London, Giles finally followed his heart (by which he means his wife) to New York in 2004. He's very glad he did. His 10-year career in PR and marketing communications has been equally well-travelled. Cutting his teeth at a boutique London agency, Giles worked on a variety of food, beverage and lifestyle brands, winning industry awards and accolades along the way. Giles then spent several years wearing his heart on his sleeve as a freelancer, lending his creative consumer marketing skills to give a strategic edge to government education campaigns. In 2005, Giles started at M&F, which marked his return to consumer practice. Again, he's very happy he did. At M&F, Giles has m]anaged a variety of clients, primarily in the food and beverage sector and has been responsible for several award-winning campaigns. Outspoken (and often wrong) about most things, Giles likes bars, has lots of records, is an occasional DJ and, like everyone else in New York, is writing a screenplay that "is going to blow your mind."
