Dan Griffin
A Connecticut native, textbook Taurus and lover of vanilla cupcakes, Dan was born with a flair for the dramatic and an inexhaustible imagination. Ignoring the snide remarks (and spitballs) of childhood classmates, he put his unique sensibility and talent to good use, becoming an award-winning scriptwriter for ABC TV's daytime drama, One Life to Live. Tired of the dueling divas and evil twins of soap land, Dan left the glamorous world of TV and arrived at Maloney & Fox in 2006. Quickly learning the PR ropes, Dan became an integral member of account teams Hope Equity and PhotoWorks.com, and excelled early on at event planning and implementation for such high-profile events as "The Human Billboard" for Microsoft, Bacardi USA's Rubi Rey Rum launch, NYED's "Gathering on Greene," and the national product launch of Rockport's Machine Washable collection of footwear. Most recently, Dan has helped to develop M&F's successful footwear division, and has moved into leadership positions on the Rockport, Brooks Sports and MBT accounts. Wrinkles be damned, Dan is a true sun worshipper and can be found frolicking and having cocktails by the water every chance he gets. When Dan grows up, he wants to become the proud owner of a Boston Terrier. And a Puggle. And a Chocolate Lab. And a monkey. |
