Cynthia Patnote
Despite being born and raised in the exciting metropolis of Harwinton, Connecticut, Cynthia knew at the ripe old age of 12 that she needed to get out of suburbia and onto bigger and better things in the city. Leaving all the popped collars behind, Cynthia fled to Boston, where she fell in love with PR after interning for a major sports team and national non-profits looking to target urban minorities. Though she loved living in Boston, she soon tired of being a lone Yankees fan in sea of Red Sox supporters and decided it was time to hightail it to the Big Apple. After relocating to New York, she spent time working at BettyConfidential.com, where she gained a behind the scenes knowledge into the mysterious world of women's interest's outlets, followed by Fleishman-Hillard, where she was a member of the consumer healthcare team for Tylenol. Her most recent stint at JS2 Communications had her working on consumer technology, beauty and food & beverage accounts, with the majority of her time spent pitching a sexual lubricant brand. Though she won't miss the time spent researching adult websites, Cynthia has learned to be fearless while speaking with the media about the most taboo topics. Specializing in media relations, Cynthia spends her time working on the fabulous Tupperware account. Outside of PR, she loves to travel, explore the city, meet new people, (long walks on the beach…) and attend as many concerts and shows as is humanly possible. |
