Ashley Wallace

Born and raised in suburban New Jersey 25 miles west of New York City, Ashley left the fist pumping garden state for the first time to attend college in Rhode Island at Brown University. While taking advantage of her liberal and free spirited campus, Ashley sampled a variety of courses and internships during the course of her four years.

However, during one fateful day at a career fair her senior year (while inundated primarily with banking and consulting firms recruiting eager grads-to-be) Ashley stumbled upon something different: the opportunity to work in the corporate office at the national retail giant Steve & Barry's. Falling in love with the program after her first interview, Ashley landed an in-house PR position where she handled everything from swarming mobs of tween fans at the launch of Amanda Bynes' "dear" collection to juggling publicity for store openings in various markets across the country.

Following Steve & Barry's, Ashley joined the Consumer Group at a fast-paced, mid-sized PR firm near Bryant Park, where she worked on everything from Barnes & Noble and Whole Foods Market to Kopali Organics and Old Homestead Steakhouse. During her time, she managed a myriad of responsibilities for up to eight consumer division accounts, pitching and securing consistent top media placements for even the most obscure clients.

Eventually seeking a more creative and multi-faceted work environment, Ashley found herself singing along to the jingle on Maloney & Fox's website shortly after. Walking into the spacious 5th avenue loft office and meeting a team of energetic and welcoming folks, Ashley knew she had found her perfect match.

Outside of the office, the former varsity swimmer and gym rat can be found on the soccer field, beach volleyball court, or in a Manhattan school gym playing dodgeball. She can also be found dining alfresco or exploring her new East Village neighborhood. Ashley is known by her closest friends to rock an endearing side ponytail and sing along (albeit very off-key) to the music during nights on the town.
