Alex Osorio

As a Colombian who was born and raised in Columbia, MO, Alex begrudgingly abandoned her Mizzou Tigers for the swash-buckling Vanderbilt Commodores of Nashville Tennessee. During her Vandy tenure, she technically earned a double major in Public Policy and Spanish, but in all actuality mastered football game tailgates, live country music and the Texas two step.

She discovered her love for PR while interning at the Time Inc. Media Group where she was involved in the national media outreach and events for publications such as Real Simple, InStyle and Essence.

Upon return to Nashville, this small town girl realized she had big city dreams. So after graduation she moved to Washington, D.C. (which is not that big of a city…) to join the Epic Media Relations team working on variety of consumer and non-profit clients. She quickly tired of the buttoned-up navy blue suits that flooded the nation's capital and instead yearned for the fast-paced world of New York, so she made the move and joined the 5WPR team where she specialized in corporate and crisis communications for notable politicians, attorneys, real estate developers and religious figures.

It wasn't long before the bold colors of Maloney & Fox lured her away. She was a sucker for the sarcasm, smiles and unbeatable service provided by the lively group. She now works on Tupperware and Mercedes-Benz, and the team members are helping her work through her Colombian-Columbia identity crisis.
