Global commercial real estate corporation
Building awareness and enthusiasm for changes at the World Financial Center
The word is out—and it's good!
Brookfield Office Properties has embarked upon a $200 million equity investment in the redevelopment of the World Financial Center,
including a complete revitalization of the Center's 300,000-square-foot retail and waterfront dining area. As part of this exciting
undertaking, the $20 billion global real estate corporation has retained M&F to amp up its media relations and marketing to highlight
its premier New York City property as one of the beacons of Lower Manhattan's rebirth and the ideal location for a diverse portfolio
of high-profile corporations, retailers and restaurateurs.
To that end, M&F has partnered with Brookfield's team to develop, coordinate and execute various successful marketing and communications
initiatives as the project progresses. To date, M&F has enhanced public events by developing several higher profile activities, promoted
the Greenmarket and Summer Food Kiosks/Chef Series to consumers, chefs and the media, and advised on repositioning the brand in various print
and online collateral. M&F has also advanced Brookfield's goal of increasing and strengthening its tenant and community relations,
including developing a microsite for the redevelopment project, crafting a new social media strategy, and developing and implementing overall
communications strategies with these constituents.
Additionally, M&F continues to deliver Brookfield's key messages via top stories in major outlets such as CBS, CNN, FOX, The New York Times,
The Wall Street Journal and Reuters, and is strategic partner in developing the evolution of the World Financial Center brand.
